The check-in was quick and easy, with friendly staff. The spacious room had charming decor and a separate kitchen area. The hotel's location near Grand Central station was convenient. The rooftop bar was lovely, and there were nearby amenities like a 24-hour supermarket.

I recently stayed at the Roger Smith Hotel for a few nights. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot. The junior suite we booked was much nicer than expected, spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to find a 24-hour supermarket and pharmacy right below the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offers free passes to a nearby gym and the lobby minibar has unlimited Greek yogurts and granola available at all times.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Stylish small hotel for 1 night in New York City. Incredible magnificent location, close to everything.

Everything was good, including accommodating staff and unbeatable location close to main attractions. We liked the junior suite which was updated on the 14th floor.

Great location near Grand Central, Times Square, Empire State, and Rockefeller Center. Close to Central Park and Broadway theaters. Friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola in the lobby. Quirky and non-traditional room decor. Safe, iron, ironing board, in-room coffeemaker, and mini-fridge. Comfortable bed and clean, spacious bathroom. Good Internet connectivity. Quiet on the 15th floor.

Every detail was very good, including staff and location, I loved how fairly clean the hotel was. The location close to the central station was just excellent for me.

Amazing location with plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the cozy atmosphere and how relaxing it was after a long day exploring the city. The rooftop bar was a great bonus, even though it wasn't open during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for your visit to the city.

Quiet hotel, staff were welcoming and the location was handy close to everything.

The one bedroom apartment exceeded our expectations and was incredibly comfortable. the decor was stylish and the apartment was spotlessly clean. the location on Lexington Avenue was perfect, right in the heart of midtown. the staff were friendly and welcoming. We also appreciated the complimentary granola and yogurt, as well as the 24-hour supermarket nearby.

We were disappointed with the check-in process, as we had to wait until after 5:00pm to be able to check in. the room we were given did not match what we had booked, which was a bit frustrating.

The lobby was stylish and fairly clean. The hotel itself was in a calm area, really close to the business district, restaurants and east midtown. Also, a 1930s art deco tower was around the corner.

The hotel itself was convenient and clean and the staff were cordial, it had exceptional location very close to the Central Station.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the convenience of having a 24-hour free muesli and yogurt station in the hotel. It was great to grab a quick and healthy snack whenever I needed it. the location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the major attractions. It made exploring the city during the holiday season so much easier. Finally, I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who were always willing to assist with any questions or requests.

The hotel was in a great spot, making it easy to walk to many places in the midtown area. It was in an accessible location, close to public transportation, with the nearest tube station just a short walk away. We were pleasantly surprised by the decor of the living rooms, featuring a unique and artful style. The staff were helpful and informative.

The hotel could benefit from some updating, particularly in regards to room cleanliness.

The building is conveniently located. The rooms are large.

The building needs to be renovated. The mattress in the bed in room 1411 absolutely needs replacing. The air conditioning is noisy. No breakfast is an inconvenience.

The location +++++, but also the bar on the roof of the hotel, the existence of a parking in the hotel (with valet parking at 50/60 USD per 24h). We will stay here when we come back to New York.

Breakfast is almost non-existent (but has the merit of being there). The price is high for the standing of the hotel...but we are in New York so it all makes sense ;)

Convenient location for sightseeing, with 24h fresh food market nearby. Cozy yet classic antique room style with great city views. Friendly and caring staff, especially luggage gentlemen and doorman. Enjoyed complimentary granola yogurt and apple in lobby. Personal and warm touches, such as Christmas paper supplies and guest lounge with twinkling tree.

We had a junior suite, old style but very classy deco/ambiance (room 1510). comfortable bedding, great room... icing on the cake, coffee & nespressso coffee maker available... what else! Not offering breakfast, hotel offers apples, yoghurt free of charge at the reception. Nice attention. staff was great.

Great location and comfortable beds. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room, which had a microwave and fridge. The staff was attentive and helpful. we had a wonderful stay.

The location of the hotel is 5min walk from Grand Centrale in the heart of downtown Manhattan . The granola, yogurt and fruit bar is available all day long.

The bathroom could use a little refreshment.

The hotel was conveniently located. Delicious small Greek yoghurts, granola and apples offered every morning at the reception. Nice little rooftop and metro nearby.

I would rather recommend staying in a quieter area (Astoria, Brooklyn etc) knowing that the downtown area is very noisy, day and night. hotel style was a bit old-fashioned for my taste and rooms were a bit too heated and rather dark in terms of luminosity.

We stayed in a centrally located boutique hotel, close to all the attractions in Midtown. It was easy to walk to the places that interested us without being directly in the crowded areas. The hotel was also conveniently located near coffee shops and had easy access to public transportation. Our room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast options were satisfactory.

We did experience some noise from the street outside, which was a minor inconvenience.

The hotel is well placed for subways and located in the theater district, making it perfect for exploring the city. The rooms are equipped with all the amenities, including a refrigerator, and the newly renovated bathroom adds a touch of modernity. Additionally, the Nespresso machine in the breakfast area is a great addition, ensuring a perfect start to the day.

No significant flaws were observed during the stay.

Excellent location and friendly staff. The option of being able to serve you yogurt and cereals is great. The pillows and mattress are very comfortable.

The soundproofing of the rooms. Being in the middle of the avenue the amount of traffic was very intense during the night as well.

hotel's lobby is not at all inviting and of the fifty one feels that it is in another decade but the incredibly friendly staff the giant rooms for ny and excellent location. They offer you yoghurt and granola all day long and in the evening a snack and cookies.

The heating was a little loud and it was too loud for my taste

hotel outside and lobby look old in style but inside the rooms are renovated in a classic style. advantage is that they are very big rooms for ny. It even has. Rooms with two bedrooms and a living room. I liked it very much, granola and yogurt at five o'clock, they also have a cupboard and everything is included. staff is excellent. I will come back to this hotel. comfortable location.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the value for money is outstanding, especially considering its prime location in the theater district near Lexington avenue. The affordable prices coupled with the hotel's attention to detail left me thoroughly impressed. Secondly, the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met throughout my stay. Lastly, the rooms were equipped with all the amenities one could ask for, including a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, and even a Nespresso machine for a delightful breakfast.

All aspects of this hotel were more than satisfactory, leaving me without any significant complaint.

The room was large and comfortable, equipped with a coffee maker and well-ventilated. The hotel also offered free snacks in the lobby 24/7. The rooftop bar was a fun and bustling spot, although a bit pricey. The location was superb, close to major attractions and transportation hubs like Grand Central Station.

The hotel was clean and staff were cordial, everything was excellent. The bonus was great room decor and nice bar. Food was great and we liked the variety. They had an early check-in too. The property's location was central, close to everything.

The hotel was fairly clean and well-maintained, loved the extremely comfy beds. The queen room had a safe box, a writing table and ironing facilities. During our stay the staff were funny. Late check-out was useful.
